Philippe Kern - About

Philippe Kern is the founder and managing director of KEA European Affairs. An important voice for Europe's cinema and music industry, he is a recognised leader in the world of entertainment, culture, sport and digital technology. He is a specialist in copyright, anti-trust and trade law. Kern is former Director of Public and Legal Affairs of PolyGram. He is the founder and secretary general of the European Film Companies Alliance (EFCA) as well as the founder of the Independent Music Companies Association (IMPALA) and e.films. Kern graduated in law at the universities of Strasbourg and Paris as well as the College of Europe in Brugge. He speaks French, English and German.
